Night Waking

Bub has decided that it's a great idea to wake at 12:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. to eat. I don't think that's such a great idea, of course. I've been fine with the night waking, because he's been sick for, oh, a month now. But now I'm seeing a pattern. Do you have any advice for how to break him of this habit? I'm not a fan of cry-it-out.

I'd probably start by not feeding him, since he shouldn't need it. Just try to cuddle and rock him to sleep(iness)- whatever works. Then once that was going well for some days, I'd move to soothing him while he's in his crib. I never wanted to just leave babies without some kind of reassurance that I was there and they were okay.

No good advice. I usually give in the middle of the night because I want the crying to stop. :) Good luck to you!
